The session was conducted by the HR representative of TechnoGrowth Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Pune. The speaker provided valuable insights on interview preparation, communication skills, body language, and confidence building. Students learned effective techniques to present themselves professionally during interviews. The Computer Engineering Department celebrated Engineer’s Day 2025 with great enthusiasm. The program was inaugurated by Principal Dr. P. P. Gawade and Mrs. Balshetwar. Events included a coding competition and an ITR project exhibition with active participation from second- and third-year students. Mrs. Balshetwar evaluated the exhibition and appreciated students’ creativity and technical skills. The celebration was organized by the Association of Computer Engineering Students (ACES), whose members managed decoration and event planning, enhancing their teamwork and leadership abilities. Guided by HoD Mrs. G. J. Sutar and Principal Dr. Gawade, the event strengthened students’ confidence and technical learning.

Teacher’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara by the Polytechnic Computer Engineering Department. The program was organized in the guidance of HOD Ms. Sutar G. J. Students from Second Year and Third Year Computer Engineering actively participated in the event.
The Chief Guest of the program was HOD of Civil Department, Mr. Pratik Matkar , who addressed the students and appreciated their efforts in organizing such a thoughtful celebration. The event included welcome speeches, teacher felicitation, cultural performances, and a cake-cutting ceremony. Students expressed their gratitude towards the teaching staff and highlighted the important role teachers play in building their future.

The Department of Computer Engineering, Yashoda Polytechnic, Satara, organized an industrial visit for Second-Year Diploma students on 26th August 2025 as part of the MSBTE curriculum. The visit aimed to provide practical exposure and industry-oriented learning beyond classroom teaching.
Students visited Technogrowth Solution Pvt. Ltd., Warje, Pune, and Swami Logicpool Infotech, where they gained valuable insights into programming languages, web technologies, and database systems. The sessions covered C Programming, C++, Website Design & Development, and Database Management Systems (DBMS), enabling students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. These topics directly supported subjects like Data Structure Using C (DSU), Database Management System (DMS), and Object-Oriented Programming Using C++ (OOP).
Industry experts guided students through live demonstrations and interactive discussions, which enhanced their understanding of real-world practices. The visit helped students develop technical awareness, broaden their perspective on software development, and build confidence in applying programming concepts to practical scenarios.
This industrial visit was successfully conducted under the guidance of Head of Department Ms. Sutar G.J., and with the support and encouragement of Principal Dr. P. P. Gavade. The Department of Computer Engineering (Polytechnic) organized a guest lecture on "Object-Oriented Programming" for Second-Year Diploma students under the subject Data Structure & Programming (DSP). The session was delivered by Mrs. R. M. Mandhare, Lecturer at YTC, Satara.
The lecture aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and distinguish it from Procedural-Oriented Programming (POP). Mrs. Mandhare began with a comparison between POP and OOP, highlighting key differences in modularity, data handling, and reusability. Real-life examples were used to simplify complex ideas.
She explained essential OOP concepts such as encapsulation, abstraction, inheritance, and polymorphism, along with programming languages like C++, Java, Python, and C#. Through interactive examples and code demonstrations, she emphasized the importance of classes and objects in modern programming.
The session was informative and engaging, encouraging student participation and enhancing their understanding of OOP principles. It laid a strong foundation for practical application in programming. The department sincerely thanks Mrs. Mandhare for conducting such a valuable and effective session.
The Departments of Computer Engineering of Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara, organized a guest lecture on “Searching and Sorting Techniques in Data Structure” on 08th July 2025. The session was conducted by Mrs. Shital Kakade, Assistant Professor, Computer Science & Engineering, YTC, Satara.
Mrs. Kakade S. P delivered a highly interactive and insightful session, covering key concepts such as Linear Search, Binary Search, and various sorting techniques. She emphasized the practical applications of these methods in real-time scenarios, making the session beneficial and engaging for all participants.

From 5th to 9th October 2024, the Department of Computer Engineering organized a Student Development Program (SDP) workshop on "Artificial Intelligence and Deep learning.
During his two days i.e. 05th & 06th Oct 2024,throughout his presentation, Mr. Yammen Hakim Sir covered key topics such as Machine Learning fundamentals, Data Preparation, Data Cleaning, and Data Manipulation techniques,emphasizing their importance in the AI workflow.
On Second day,Mr. Tejas Phase Sir provided a concise overview of supervised and unsupervised machine learning, as well as key concepts in deep learning, explained how neural network function. He provided hands-on training in the second and third sessions, giving students a brief overview of the coding aspects involved.He also addressed their questions and offered guidance on their career paths.At last day, Evaluation of students done through technical quiz and motivated them by giving certificates to toppers & participants.

On 5th September 2024, the Teacher’s Day celebration was held to honor and appreciate the dedication of educators. The event, with the theme "Empowering Minds,Shaping Futures," took place from 10.00 AM to 12:00 PM at Architecture Building.
