Special Programs & Schemes
- Successfully Implementation of NEP 2020 : The successful implementation of NEP 2020 in the General Science Department of the Polytechnic focuses on enhancing the quality of education by promoting multidisciplinary learning, critical thinking, and a student-centric approach. It encourages a flexible curriculum that integrates practical knowledge with theoretical concepts and emphasizes the development of analytical skills. The policy also aims to bridge the gap between science and technology, fostering innovation and preparing students for industry challenges. As per the NEP 2020 framework, we conduct social life skills, NSS, and yoga activities.
- Guardian Faculty Member (GFM) Scheme : Under this scheme, each faculty member is assigned a group of 22 students and takes personal responsibility for their progress. Faculty regularly interact with students and their parents to ensure continuous support and to address any concerns regarding attendance and academic performance.
- Student-Centered Activities : The department is deeply involved in nurturing student development through various activities. Faculty members frequently communicate with the parents of students who are absent, ensuring that students receive the attention they need both academically and personally.
