On March 18, 2025, as part of YashoTech Fest 2025, the Department of Information Technology successfully organized CODEWAR, a State-Level Coding Competition that attracted talented programmers from various institutions.
CODEWAR was a high-stakes coding competition designed to test participants' problem-solving abilities, coding efficiency, and logical thinking. The competition focused exclusively on C and Python programming and featured a single, intense round where participants tackled a series of complex coding challenges within a limited time.
With a strong emphasis on algorithmic thinking and real-world problem-solving, the event provided an excellent platform for students to enhance their programming skills and compete in a high-pressure coding environment.
The event was a grand success, fostering a spirit of innovation and technical excellence among students. The Department of Information Technology looks forward to hosting more such competitions, encouraging students to push their boundaries and excel in the field of programming.
The Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara, Faculty of Polytechnic, successfully inaugurated a Management Development Program (Digital Marketing Program) under the guidance of the Maharashtra Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (MCED). This five-day event, held from March 11 to March 15, 2025, aims to enhance students' understanding of digital marketing strategies and entrepreneurial skills.
The event was graced by the esteemed guest, Mrs. S. S. Patil, Project Officer, MCED, Satara, who provided valuable insights into the evolving landscape of digital marketing and its role in modern businesses. The initiative was led by Prof. Y. J. Potdar, EDP Coordinator, with the support of Prof. P. P. Gavade, Principal of the institute.
The program covers key aspects of digital marketing, including:

- Google Ads & PPC
- Content Marketing & Blogging
- E-commerce Strategies
- Email Marketing & Lead Generation

The YSPM’s Yashoda Technical Campus, accredited by NBA and MSBTE, continuously strives to bridge the gap between academia and industry through such programs.
Students and faculty members actively participated in discussions, hands-on training, and interactive sessions, making the program an engaging and insightful learning experience.
On March 8, 2025, the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Yashoda Technical Campus, Faculty of Polytechnic, organized a tree plantation drive at Ajinkyatara Fort, Satara, near the Mangala Devi Temple.
The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the significance of trees in our lives and their crucial role in maintaining environmental balance. Faculty members, students, and volunteers actively participated in the event, planting a variety of saplings to contribute to a greener and healthier ecosystem.
This drive served as a reminder of our responsibility toward nature conservation and promoted the importance of afforestation in combating climate change, improving air quality, and enhancing biodiversity. The event concluded with an interactive session on environmental sustainability, encouraging participants to take further steps in protecting and nurturing nature.
The Department of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Computer Engineering, and Information Technology successfully organized a Three-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on "Cloud Computing" from February 7 to February 9. The event featured expert speakers from academia and industry, providing in-depth insights into cloud computing technologies, deployment models, and real-world applications.
Day 1: The programme commenced with a session by Dr. Sutar Sandip G, Associate Professor at Dr. D.Y. Patil Pratishthan’s College of Engineering, Salokhenagar. He provided a comprehensive overview of cloud computing, types of cloud services, benefits and challenges of cloud adoption, and the concept of hybrid cloud.
Day 2: Ms. Gauri Bhandwalkar, a Data Research Analyst at Acceligize, Kharadi, Pune, delivered an insightful session on cloud deployment models, visualization concepts, hybrid and multi-hybrid cloud architecture, and essential tools and technologies for cloud deployment.
Day 3: The concluding session was conducted by Mr. Vishal Topkar, an IT Engineer and AWS Cloud Solutions Architect at Mahavitran. He presented real-world case studies on cloud deployment, analyzing practical applications and hybrid cloud implementations.
The FDP served as an excellent platform for faculty members to enhance their knowledge of cloud computing trends, technologies, and industry best practices, fostering a deeper understanding of modern cloud solutions.

On February 28, 2025, Traditional Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Yashoda Technical Campus.
The event featured a variety of performances showcasing the rich cultural heritage of India, all beautifully presented by the students.
As a highlight of the event, the Polytechnic Department of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML) collaborated with the Department of Information Technology (IT) to present a spectacular Traditional Ramp Walk. This special performance added vibrancy to the celebrations and allowed students to express their appreciation for diverse traditional attires and customs.
A total of 10 students participated in the ramp walk, with 2 students representing the AIML department and 8 students from the IT department. Their graceful performances captivated the audience and contributed to the festive spirit of the occasion.
Such events play a crucial role in boosting students' confidence, enhancing their stage presence, and encouraging them to actively engage in cultural activities alongside their academic journey.
The Traditional Day celebration at Tashoda Technical Campus was a grand success, leaving behind wonderful memories for both participants and attendees.
The Marathi Bhasha Din celebration at Yashoda Technical Campus was a successful event that not only celebrated the rich heritage of the Marathi language but also encouraged students to take pride in their linguistic and cultural identity. Through various interactive and informative activities, the event served as a reminder to all attendees of the importance of preserving and promoting Marathi in every aspect of life.
On February 27, 2025, a workshop on "How to Write a Research Paper" was organized for all polytechnic faculty members at Yashoda Technical Campus. The session was conducted by Dr. Pankaj Ghadge, a Ph.D. holder currently associated with RIT Institute, who has published 10+ international research papers to date.
During the workshop, Dr. Ghadge shared his invaluable experiences with the faculty as well as students, offering expert guidance on the art of writing a research paper. He not only explained the structural and technical aspects of research writing but also emphasized the importance of choosing a credible and reputed publisher for publication.
Additionally, he shed light on the fraudulent practices emerging in the research domain, cautioning attendees about predatory journals and unethical publication practices. His insights served as a wake-up call, encouraging faculty members to stay vigilant and uphold research integrity.
He also expressed his willingness to collaborate with faculty members in their research paper publications and generously shared his contact details to ensure smooth and effective communication.
The session was highly informative and inspiring, motivating faculty members aas well as students to actively pursue research in various domains. This workshop will undoubtedly play a crucial role in enhancing the research capabilities of faculty members and facilitating quality paper publications in the future.
On February 21st, 2025, the Second Year information Technology (SY-IF) Department of Yashoda Technical Campus, Polytechnic, successfully hosted a comprehensive and informative parents' meeting. The event served as a crucial platform for open communication and collaboration between faculty, parents, and the institute's administration
The meeting commenced with a detailed discussion of academic progress. Faculty members meticulously reviewed the MSBTE Winter 2024 results, providing parents with insights into their children's performance. Individual student attendance records were also shared and discussed, emphasizing the importance of consistent participation. Furthermore, the results of the recent Class Test 1 were presented, allowing parents to gauge their children's understanding of the curriculum.
Principal Prof. Gavade P.P. delivered an inspiring address, outlining the institute's vision for the future and highlighting the burgeoning scope of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) industry. He emphasized Yashoda Technical Campus's proactive approach to preparing students for successful careers in leading multinational corporations (MNCs). The principal also provided valuable guidance on higher education opportunities, encouraging students to pursue advanced studies and specialize in their chosen fields.
A significant highlight of the meeting was the announcement of the newly implemented Training and Placement Officer (TPO) sessions. Recognizing the competitive job market, the institute has introduced weekly three-day TPO sessions specifically for second-year students. These sessions are designed to equip students with essential skills, including resume building, interview techniques, and industry-specific knowledge, thereby enhancing their employability.
Parents' Coordinator, Mr. Ganesh Mane, shared his positive views on the institute's commitment to student development and the collaborative environment fostered by the faculty. He expressed appreciation for the institute's efforts in nurturing students' academic and professional growth.
On February 04, 2025, the Faculty of the Information Technology Polytechnic Department organized a study visit as part of the Java Programming and UI/UX Design curriculum. A group of 30+ students of SY-IF Polytechnic with Mr. Gosavi P. R., Mr. Pawar P. S., Ms. Dolas S.G. , Ms. Shah.S.S from Yashoda Technical Campus visited Do IT Infosystems, an industry leader in Software Solution & Website Development.
The industrial visit provided the students with a comprehensive view of how their theoretical learning can be applied in a practical context. It emphasized the importance of understanding real-world challenges and solutions, which are essential for their growth as future tech professionals.

सातारा: यशोदा पॉलिटेक्निक, सातारा येथील राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना (NSS) विभागामार्फत आज, दिनांक 25 जानेवारी 2025 रोजी, प्रजासत्ताक दिनाच्या पूर्वसंध्येला किल्ले अजिंक्यतारा येथे स्वच्छता अभियान राबवण्यात आले. भारत सरकारच्या स्वच्छ भारत अभियानाशी सुसंगत असलेल्या या उपक्रमात प्रथम वर्षातील 100 हून अधिक विद्यार्थ्यांनी उत्स्फूर्त सहभाग नोंदवला.
सातारा नगरपालिकेने या उपक्रमासाठी घंटागाडी उपलब्ध करून दिली. यावेळी विद्यार्थ्यांनी किल्ल्याच्या परिसरातील कचरा गोळा करून परिसर स्वच्छ केला. यावेळी ५० पेक्षा जास्त पोटी अविघटनशील कचरा गोळा करण्यात आला.तांत्रिक शिक्षण घेत असताना विद्यार्थ्यांनी समाज आणि निसर्गाप्रती आपली जबाबदारी ओळखून काम करावे, या उद्देशाने हा उपक्रम राबवण्यात आला.
NSS समन्वयक प्रा. प्रतिक मतकर यांनी विद्यार्थ्यांना स्वच्छतेचे महत्त्व पटवून दिले. प्रा. रणजित खांडेकर यांनी संयोजनाची भूमिका पार पाडली.
यशोदा पॉलिटेक्निकने घेतलेल्या या सामाजिक उपक्रमामुळे विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये कर्तव्यभावना आणि स्वच्छतेची जाणीव निर्माण झाली असून हा उपक्रम विद्यार्थी व शिक्षक यांच्या सहकार्यातून यशस्वीपणे पार पडला. प्राचार्य व मॅनेजमेंट यांचे बहुमूल्य मार्गदर्शन लाभले.
A parent-teacher meeting was conducted on 9th November, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Twenty-two parents were reported for the meeting. The parents were intimated through the respective Guardian Faculty Member (GFMs) of the department.
The Parent Meeting was conducted as per following schedule:
- Registration of parents at the registration desk at 10:00 am.
- At the begin g of program Deep Prajwalan & Saraswati Poojan was done by all respected guests.
- Felicitation of Toppers done by respected guests.
- Commencement of Parent Meeting with speech of Hon.Director Dr. Vivekumar K. Redasani Sir.
- Then Training & placement officer Mr. Abhijeet Kekre sir gave his valuable guidance for & approach of institute to build the students for industry ready.
- Central Academic Co-ordinator Prof. Mr. Khandekar R.S. gave detailed information about schemes of MSBTE, Academic structure and other relevant guidance. Sir also focused on events & activities for students conducted in the institute & also focused on placement activities which will be conducted in coming future.
- Parent representative Mrs. Neha Shivade & Mr. Madhukar Balavde shared his valuable opinions about the institute and department.

On November 7, 2024, the Departments of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and Information Technology organized a personality development program for SY-AN and SY-IF students. The session was led by Mr. Abhijeet Kekere, who has over 14 years of experience in training, placement, and personality development.
The event commenced with Mr. Gosavi P.R. from the AN department welcoming and introducing Mr. Kekere to the students, urging them to make the most of the session. Mr. Kekere shared valuable tips on personality development, proper behavior on campus, and industry ethics that will support students in their future careers.
Mr. Kekere emphasized the importance of effective communication skills, positive body language, and self-confidence as key components of personal and professional growth. He highlighted the significance of time management, goal setting, and continuous learning to adapt to changing industry trends.
Students were also encouraged to develop a growth mindset, practice active listening, and maintain a professional demeanor both in college and in future workplaces. Mr. Kekere's insights aimed to empower students to enhance their interpersonal skills and build strong, professional relationships that will contribute to long-term success.

The successful completion of these courses has equipped the students with essential skills in Python programming and data visualization. This knowledge will be instrumental in their academic and professional growth, empowering them to approach data-centric problems with confidence.
The industrial visit to ACME Infovision Pvt. Ltd. offered valuable real-world insights into the application of software development and cloud technologies, aligning well with the students' academic curriculum. By observing professional workflows, engaging in discussions on programming and database management, and exploring career paths, students gained a clearer understanding of industry standards and expectations. This experience has effectively inspired them to bridge academic knowledge with practical skills, fostering their growth as future tech professionals. We sincerely thank the team at ACME Infovision for providing an enriching and motivational experience.
On October 7, 2024, under the Student Development Program (SDP), Mr. Tejas Phase delivered an insightful guest lecture on "Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning."
The first session provided a comprehensive overview of supervised and unsupervised machine learning, along with fundamental deep learning concepts. Mr. Phase also guided participants through the setup of the Anaconda environment, a crucial step for practical implementation.
The subsequent sessions were dedicated to hands-on exercises, reinforcing the theoretical knowledge gained. Participants actively engaged with practical applications, deepening their understanding of machine learning and its various types.
Mr. Phase delved into the intricacies of deep learning, explaining the functioning of neural networks. The second and third sessions were focused on practical training, providing students with a solid foundation in coding aspects. He also addressed queries and offered valuable career guidance.
The event concluded with motivational speeches from Hon. Dr. Vikram Patil, Principal of Engineering, Prof. P.P. Gavade, Principal of Polytechnic, and Mr. Tejas Phase. Students shared their experiences and the knowledge gained during the workshop, highlighting the positive impact of the event.
From 5th to 9th October 2024, the Departments of "Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Information Technology" jointly organized SDP workshop on "Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning." This event was aimed at enhancing students' understanding of advanced concepts in AI and fostering their overall development in the field.
On 5th October 2024, the opening ceremony of the SDP was graced by the presence of several esteemed dignitaries. Hon. Director of Yashoda Technical campus Dr.V. K.Redasani Sir, Polytechnic Principal Prof. Gavade P.P. All HOD & Staff.The inaugural session on 5th October 2024 featured Hon. Guest, Mr. Yammen Hakim designed th MSBTE syllabus of “AIML branch, with expertise in Data Science and Machine Learning. Mr. Hakim shared his extensive knowledge of artificial intelligence, providing students with invaluable insights into its applications.
On October 7, 2024, during the "Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning" SDP workshop, Mr. Tejas Phase interacted with students following a warm welcome from the Hon. Principal of the Polytechnic, Prof. Gavade P.P.
In the first and second session, Mr. Tejas Phase Sir provided a concise overview of supervised and unsupervised machine learning, as well as key concepts in deep learning. He also guided participants through the setup of the Anaconda environment, offering essential details for effective implementation.
In the third session, Mr. Tejas Phase Sir facilitated hands-on practical exercises related to the topics discussed in the first session. The workshop was highly interactive, enabling students to deepen their understanding of machine learning and its various types.
On the fourth day of the first session, Mr. Tejas Phase introduced the students to deep learning concepts and explained how neural networks function. After covering these foundational topics, he provided hands-on training in the second and third sessions, giving students a brief overview of the coding aspects involved. He also addressed their questions and offered guidance on their career paths.
On the final day of the SDP program, Hon. Dr. Vikram Patil, Principal of Engineering, and Prof. P.P. Gavade, Principal of Polytechnic and Mr. Tejas Phase Sir, visited the event and delivered motivational speeches to the students. The students also shared their experiences and the knowledge they gained from the workshop.
Following this, Dr. Vikram Patil, Prof. Gavade.P. P & Mr. Tejas Phase Sir presented certificates to the winners of the AskCodi quiz, which took place on the same day, marking the culmination of the five-day learning experience.
To conclude the program on a positive note, students enjoyed refreshments and expressed that they had learned a great deal from the SDP workshop.
