Yasho Techfest 2K25

The Yasho Techfest 2k25, technical event organized by the Faculty of Polytechnic at Yashoda Technical Campus Satara. Technical event aimed at fostering innovation and technical skills among students, Held on March 18, 2025, the festival featured a variety of activities designed to engage participants and showcase technological advancements.

The event was inaugurated at 10:00 AM and included technical games. These activities provided attendees with hands-on experience and insights into current technological trends. The Polytechnic Students Association played a significant role in organizing the event, ensuring its success and smooth execution. The department of General Science & Humanities arranged Fix it event and event was inaugurated by Prof. Mr. Jamadar Sir.

The event featured a variety of engaging activities, including Maths Formula, Bazar Game, Word Making, Lock & Key, Rubik's Cube, Glass Tower, and Water & Coin. The winners from the General Science & Humanities Department were Rohit Palve, Vaishnavi More, and Prerna Katkar.

This event was successfully organized under the guidance of Prof. P.P. Gavade, the Principal of the Polytechnic, and Prof.Mr. R.S. Khandekar, the Head of Department (HOD).


Nirmiti 2k25 Micro Project Exhibition First Prize Winner

The Nirmiti 2k25 Micro Project Exhibition is a showcase of innovative projects developed by the students of Polytechnic in Yashoda Technical Campus Satara . This event provides a platform for students to display their creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities through their unique micro-projects. The exhibition aims to celebrate the talent of the students and encourage them to apply their theoretical knowledge into practical, real-world applications. The First Year students willingly participated in Micro Project Exhibition.

Omkar Shivaji Gejage & Rohit Suryakant palve From first year (CO) got First Prize. He presented the micro project on “Three A Switch & Series”. This project is useful at the place of porch, main gate, lift etc.

Avdhut Dattatray Bhosale & Rohit Baliram Jadhav (EE) got second prize . They presented the micro project “ Automatic Street Light” . this project is useful to save electricity.

The event was organized by Prof. R.H. Basugade. Under the guidance of Principal Prof. P.P. Gavade sir. The event Innograted by Prof. Ajinkya Sagare Sir, Vice President YSPM. The Director, Principal of Engg, Principal of Poly, Central Academic Coordinator, HODs were present for the event.


Parents Meeting

The Department of General Science and Humanities at Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara, conducted a Parent meeting on 22/02/2025. The event was marked by the felicitation of academic rank holders and the winner of the MSBTE IEDSSA Kabaddi competition. Parents and Students Praised the college’s initiative and faculty efforts in fostering holistic student development. Mr. R. S. Khandekar, Head of the Department, highlighted the semester activities and future plans.

Principal Prof. P. P. Gavade emphasized the significance of the Yashoda Pattern in education, highlighting the crucial role of communication between parents and students. The event was attended by the all Head of Departments and faculty members. In the later part of the meeting, parents reviewed their ward’s academic records.


NEXUS 2K25 Technical event at Govt. Polytechnic Karad

The students of YSPM’s Yashoda Technical Campus, Faculty of Polytechnic participated in a

technical event “NEXUS 2K25” organized by Government Polytechnic Karad on 24 January

2025. Total, 27 students from 1 st year CE, ME, EE, CO and AN and IF along with 02 faculty

members (Prof. Mane S. P. and Prof. Waghmare S. A.) attended the event. The inaugural

ceremony of “NEXUS 2K25” started at around 11:00 am where respected dignitaries along

with eminent representatives of different colleges addressed to the audience. Later, students

participated in Check and Quest, Project Panorama, Squid Game, Open Mic etc. events.

Students won the prizes at respective events from YTC, Satara and certificates to participants.

It was an enthusiastic, interesting and informative event for all. We express our thanks to the

Government Polytechnic Karad and management, YTC Satara for organizing and promoting

the students to such kind of technical event.


The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Yashoda Polytechnic, Satara, along with the General Science Department, organized a cleanliness drive at Ajinkyatara Fort on January 25, 2025, ahead of Republic Day. This activity, in support of the Government of India’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, was joined by over 100 first-year students.

The Satara Municipal Corporation helped by providing a garbage collection vehicle. During the drive, students, with active involvement from the General Science Department, collected waste from around the fort, leaving the area neat and clean. The aim of this drive was to encourage students to take responsibility for both society and the environment as they continue their technical education.

NSS Coordinator Prof. Pratik Matkar spoke to the students about the importance of cleanliness, while Prof. Ranjit Khandekar took care of organizing the event. The General Science Department played a key role in making the initiative a success, helping to raise environmental awareness among students.

This initiative by Yashoda Polytechnic promoted a sense of responsibility for cleanliness, with the combined efforts of students and faculty, all guided by the Principal and the Management.


Ajinkya Yuva Vakta

Yashoda Technical Campus Satara organized Speech Competition on the occasion of birthday of Ajinkya Sagre sir (voice president YTC Satara). Competition held on 18 Nov 2024 for the students of all branches in Diploma Engineering at Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara.

Mrs. Dr. Sarita Balshetwar and Mrs Chorge Mam are the judges of speech competition. The moto of competition to encourage the students skills. Our Vice President has worked exactly for leading with integrity, humility, and commitment to the betterment of our society. His work in Satara has touched every corner, from improving local infrastructure to empowering youth. His leadership is a reminder that true leaders are not just those who hold power, but those who serve with compassion, responsibility, and dedication.

In this competition Vaishnavi More from Computer department got first rank,

and Anushka Gaikwad from Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning department got third rank. In this program all respected guests , respected HOD and all teaching and non-teaching staff also present for felicitation of ranker students.


Skill Development Program

Department of General Science and Humanities, Faculty of Polytechnic, YTC, Satara organized Skill Development Program, on 25/09/2024 at the Mechanical Seminar Hall. YTC, Satara.

In this program Mr. Binish Kumar, State head of Maharashtra & Goa, All Society for Electronic & Computer Technology (AISECT), Bhopal. Mr. Amit ``+- State Placement Coordinator, (AISECT), Mr. Vitthal Rathod, Business Development Executive (AISECT) & Mr. Rakesh Kamble, Consultant member, Yashoda Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Satara and Principal Prof. P. P. Gavade (Faculty of Polytechnic), Prof. R. S. Khandekar (HOD. General Science and Humanities), and all teaching staff and students were present during the event.

Mr. Binish Kumar sir addressed the students, to acquire multi skills so that they can get employment and improve entrepreneurship. Skill development can help people get jobs, stay in jobs, and get better jobs. People with skills are more competitive in the job market and can attract potential employers speaking as deemed as Skill Maharashtra’s flagship skill development scheme. Its objective is to enable youth to take up training to secure a better livelihood.

 Principal Prof. P. P. Gavade sir guided the students, urging them to be confident in their missions and to refine their skills to meet global industrial demands. Eventually, the event was ended with the vote of thanks by the Prof. Basugade R. H.


Engineers Day: Model Presentations

On the occasion of Engineers Day, the Department of General Science and Humanities, Faculty of Polytechnic, YTC, Satara celebrated “Engineers Day” on 14/09/2024. Department honoured the contributions of engineers to national development and recognized the legacy of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya.

Principal Prof. P. P. Gavade (Faculty of Polytechnic), event Judge Dr. N. M. Jamadar (HOD, Electrical Engineering), Prof. R. S. Khandekar (HOD, General Science), all teaching staff and students were present during the event.

At the start, all the dignitaries were welcomed by the department and then students were addressed by the principal, urging them to be confident in their missions and to refine their skills to meet global industrial demands. Event Judge Dr. N. M. Jamadar, emphasized that career planning is an ongoing process for engineers, and students must remain technically strong. Prof. R. S. Khandekar, played a crucial role in encouraging student participation in model presentations. The event was coordinated by Prof. Dhumal P. P. and Prof. Sakunde A. S.

Students showcased their talents through impressive model presentations, with those delivering exceptional performances receiving attractive prizes. Participants demonstrated and elaborated their models and defended questions asked by judge. At the end, winners were declared and the event were ended with the vote of thanks by Prof. R. V. Bhosale.


“Teachers Day”

Department of General Science and Humanities, Faculty of Polytechnic, YTC, Satara organized a “Teachers Day”, on 05/09/2024 at the Yellow Seminar Hall. YTC, Satara.

The event was celebrated on the remembrance of birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a great teacher, scholar, and the second President of India.

The event started by a prayer by the students for the teachers and Sawaswati Poojan. Students felicitated all the teachers and shared their views on teachers’ day. Students presented their speeches, skits, poems, and other creative performances to show their appreciation for their teachers. Moreover, enthusiastic students delivered a lecture to other students and showcased their teaching ability too.

Students decorated the college campus to show their appreciation for their teachers. Teachers are given gifts as a token of gratitude for their hard work. Later, few teachers expressed their view on Teachers Day.

On this occasion, all head of departments were present along with the faculties and 1st year students. Eventually, the event was ended with the vote of thanks by Ms. Rananavare R. S.


“Induction Program- 2024”

Faculty of Polytechnic organized the Induction Program ‘Arambha’ 2024 for the students newly admitted students of First and Direct Second Year in Diploma Engineering at Yashoda Technical Campus, Satara

Dr. Dinkar Patil, a former Director of Education, Maharashtra State, was present as the chief guest and guide in this program. While addressing as a chief guest, he expressed his satisfaction with the educational facilities at Yashoda Technical Campus. Speaking on the occasion, he further said that along with parents and teachers, educational institutions play a very important role in the development of students.

The President of the program, Prof. Dasharath Sagare guided the students on the key to a successful life and the mantra of success in engineering.

Few parents expressed their views on the said programs and facilities of the institute where they feel proud to be their students admitted. Students who have gone through the centralized admission process shared their views about the admission process and why they have chosen YTC, Satara. Students with excellent marks in their 10th standard were also felicitated in the event.

On this occasion the Director of Yashoda Technical Campus Dr. V. K. Redasani, Principal Prof. P. P. Gavade, Faculty of Polytechnic, Technical Campus Asso. Director Prof. R. D. Mohite were also present at the event and guided the students. The event was ended with the vote of thanks by the Prof. R. S. Khandekar.
